Why vote for Charlotte?

Over the past year, it has been a privilege to represent Politics and International Relations students and to turn your concerns into tangible change.

I have consistently pushed for greater transparency, stronger academic support, and a university experience that feels genuinely worthwhile. That has led to real progress, from pushing for improvements in marking consistency to organising our first-ever Social Sciences networking event, opening up new pathways for student employability.

But I’m not finished yet. The progress we’ve made has shown what’s possible - and also what still needs to change. Re-electing me means building on that momentum, not starting from scratch. I already understand where the system falls short, how to navigate it, and how to push for results.

In the next year, I will continue working to ensure fair and consistent marking across all modules, advocate for broader and more representative module choices, expand employability opportunities across a wider range of sectors, strengthen communication and support for joint honours students, and build a stronger, more connected departmental community.

I hope I can have your support once more !
