Why vote for Monique?

With four and a half years at the university as both an undergraduate and now a PhD student, I bring a broad understanding of the student journey across different stages of study. This experience allows me to represent a wide and diverse student voice, not just specific groups. I am committed to ensuring that decisions reflect the needs of the many, not the few, and that student perspectives are meaningfully included in how SUSU operates and evolves.

A key priority for me is supporting the delivery of strategies that address the rising cost of being a university student. Financial pressures are increasingly shaping students’ ability to fully engage with their studies and university life. If elected, I will focus on ensuring that support is practical, clearly communicated and responsive to student needs, while holding SUSU accountable for delivering real, tangible impact.
