Why vote for Olivia?

I’m running for Medicine Faculty Officer because I want to ensure student voices are not only heard, but acted on. As a Year 4 Course Rep, I have been a strong bridge between students and faculty — actively gathering feedback from our cohort, raising concerns at SSLC meetings and year group steering groups, and helping communicate outcomes back to students.

I have also attended the Faculty Clinical Centres Forum, where I advocated for students on placement and discussed issues directly with placement leads across different clinical centres. This has given me valuable insight into how decisions are made, how to raise concerns constructively, and how to push for practical, meaningful improvements.

Alongside my rep experience, I have held several society leadership roles, including President, Vice-President and Secretary, which have strengthened my communication, organisation and teamwork skills. If elected, I would focus on improving feedback systems, strengthening communication between students, reps and faculty, and ensuring students are kept updated on what action is being taken.

I would be a committed, approachable and proactive Faculty Officer who advocates for students across all year groups.
