Why vote for Sadhika?

I am a second year Politics and International Relations student, who has always believed that university is about more than just academics. It is about building connections, finding future opportunities, and creating a strong student community. Over the past few years, I have actively involved myself in student life through cultural societies, political engagement through Model United Nations, and working closely with the Student's Union during the start of the academic year. Through MUN conferences across the UK, I ahve developed skills in leadership, communication, diplomacy, and representation that I hope to bring this role. Moreover, I recently being a Peer Leader for the department has further strengthened my understanding of student concerns and the importance of making students feel supported, heard, and connected within the school community.
I look forward on creating stronger connections between the students, the department, and future career opportunities. I would love to organise more networking opportunities, career-focused talks, and collaborations with professionals and alumni so that the students can gain clearer insight into opportunities beyond university. Alongside this, I hope to work closely with other student representatives and societies to improve communication, encourage wider participation in school life, and help create a more engaging and supportive environment for all students.
