Hi, I'm Rishi, a first year Chemical Engineering student here at Southampton. Over the past few months I've been lucky enough to connect with a number of new people, and have really been able to push myself this year, both academically and socially. That being said though, there are areas which could be improved, such as the first lab for CHEM1052 being summative, or that there aren't many opportunities to study abroad with our course yet. As a Department President, one of the most important qualities to have is to be able to listen to your peers, because many people don't want to bring forward things even when they are out of order. This is something which I firmly believe to posess, and hope to help progress our course in any way I can.
