Why vote for Harriet?
This year has been the first. As the inaugural Physiotherapy President, I stepped into this role without a roadmap, no predecessor to follow and no template for what this could or should look like. What we have established this year, we built together.
I am proud of what this year has taught me and what myself, the faculty, and the course reps have achieved. But I am equally clear about what still needs to be developed. Reapplying is not about momentum for its own sake, but about following through. The groundwork has been laid and next year we can put that to work.
Looking ahead, I want to strengthen the voice of our students, working more closely with course reps and faculty to gather and channel feedback effectively, and ensuring that where concerns are raised, they are followed through and communicated back transparently.
I am committed to building upon the foundations of this year to create a connected, visible, and supported department.
