Zach 'Spikey' Spike - Student Councillor

Without students, our university would not exist. That is why I believe we deserve a voice in the crucial decisions that shape our university experience.

As a Student Councillor, I will act as a bridge between students, the Students' Union, and University Leadership. My priority would be to listen to and act on your concerns, as well as advocate for meaningful change, and ensure that students are properly represented on the issues that matter most, whether that's academic support, wellbeing, campus facilities, or overall student experience.

I believe accountability is key. Students deserve transparency and communication from their representatives and confidence that their views are being heard and delivered on. I will work to ensure student feedback is taken seriously and that the Students' Union remains focused on providing for the student body.

Throughout my education, I have held senior leadership positions, including Head Boy and House Captain. These roles have helped me develop the communication and leadership skills needed to represent our community effectively and professionally. I can bring this to the table formally at meetings, in addition to informal discussion with you as part of our student body.

Vote for me if you want a Councillor who will represent and deliver for Southampton students.
