Imogene Caiafa - History Department President

I would love the opportunity to be able to bring about change that will make a difference to students' university experience. Having been a course rep for the past two years, I have been involved in transforming feedback into tangible change, which I would like to continue as History Department President. As I am passionate about history, this means I am especially interested in the direction of the History Department. I believe that as I am an approachable and sociable person, students would feel comfortable passing on their feedback to me, whilst I would also be able to liase with the other course reps and the department. This is furthered by the fact that I have quite strong leadership abilities, meaning I would be able to lead the other course reps. As I am organised and have a strong work ethic, I would perform the role to a high standard. Therefore, I would be honoured to be able to enact real change as History Department President.
