Why vote for Dishita?
I’m standing to be your Machine Learning Student Representative because I want to make sure our experiences, concerns and ideas are heard and acted upon.
Starting a new MSc can be challenging, especially when the workload is demanding and everyone comes from different academic and technical backgrounds. I want to help create an environment where students feel comfortable raising questions, sharing feedback and supporting one another.
If elected, I will:
• Make sure your feedback is communicated clearly to the department and lecturers.
• Listen to concerns about teaching, workload, assessments and resources, and raise them constructively.
• Keep you informed about responses and any changes resulting from student feedback.
• Encourage a stronger sense of community within the cohort through opportunities to connect, collaborate and share knowledge.
• Make sure different perspectives and experiences within our cohort are represented.
I’m approachable, organised and genuinely willing to listen. I don’t want to simply collect feedback; I want to follow it up and help turn it into meaningful improvements where possible.
I’d be grateful for your vote and the opportunity to represent our cohort throughout the year.
