Fiifi Mparey - Student Councillor

As a student of Management in Sustainability, I am passionate about creating a student community where sustainability, collaboration, and responsible leadership are central to our shared experience. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of how organisations can balance social, environmental, and economic priorities while creating meaningful value.

If elected, I would focus on promoting practical sustainability initiatives within student life, encouraging greater awareness of environmental responsibility, and supporting projects that bring students together around positive change. I would also seek to strengthen communication between students and student representatives, ensuring that ideas, concerns, and suggestions are heard and considered.

I would work to encourage responsible resource use, reduce unnecessary waste, and promote initiatives that support a more sustainable campus environment. I would also advocate for opportunities that connect sustainability theory with practical student-led projects, helping students develop leadership, teamwork, and management skills.

My goal would be to contribute positively, listen to students, and work collaboratively to turn constructive ideas into achievable initiatives. Through responsible management, open communication, and sustainability-focused action, I hope to contribute meaningfully to our student community.
