Why vote for Jason?

I am running for Physics and Astronomy School President as I wish to make the course the best experience as possible for everyone.

Starting university this year, I have discovered how important it is for there to be someone who listens and discusses with the students, ensuring everyones views are heard. If I were elected, I want to be the type of person everyone would feel comfortable discussing ideas, problems, or any concerns you may be having and I will make sure everything is raised to the correct people within the school.

I'd like to improve the communication between students and staff, making sure all feedback is taken seriously, and help create more opportunities for us students to get involved outside of lectures or labs. I would also like to support more social and academic events that bring the year group together, whether through talks, studies, society events, or any other types of events people would like.

I am not promising things I am unable to deliver. Instead I will focus on what is communicated to me and work with the school to make realistic changes.

If I become appointed, I will be approachable, honest, and willing to put the work in. I would like to represent the students in my course, not only hold the title.
