Key Points

  • A confident speaker and would stand for those who can't
  • A strong manager as demonstrated in my tenure at CSSC
  • I have bridged many gaps between our University and Industry
  • The Student-Led Initiative Framework is welcomed by the Provost
  • I strongly believe that people always come first

As your Vice President, I believe clubs should do more than just organise events. Events are important, but they should not be the only measure of success. Our student association would create more recurring, non-formal activities such as interactive games, booths, and open challenges that require no registration and encourage spontaneous participation.

Communication is the foundation of student communities, and I am committed to improving the flow of information across our campus. Opportunities are often missed because students were not properly informed. WhatsApp group chats and mass emails are no longer enough. We need a more dynamic and visible communication strategy that includes in-person promotion, well-utilised noticeboards with physical media, and consistent social media outreach. Communication should be impossible to miss.

Finally, I am committed to empowering more student-led initiatives. The best ideas often come from passionate individuals who simply need a platform. Employers value initiative, leadership, and the ability to execute ideas yet currently, there is no structured pathway for students to launch projects outside of formal clubs. I propose introducing a Student-Led Initiative Framework that provides grants, logistical guidance, and institutional backing for independent student projects. This would allow students to leave a lasting impact beyond a semester.
