Break the Silence: Amplifying Disabled Voices' is a public speaking event in which disabled staff, students and external speakers are talking about all things disability. The talks will be 'Ted talk' style presentations followed by a Q&A session where the audience will be invited to ask any questions they have. 

Some examples of topics being covered are Eye gaze technology, accessible gaming, the importance of accessibility, why education should care, and more...

The aim of the event if to give a platform and space to disabled individuals, both at the university and further afield to share their experiences.

Neurodiversity & Disability Society

We're a society aimed at students who identify themselves as neurodivergent or disabled, those who are undiagnosed or self-diagnosed, and any members of the community that wishes to learn more about neurodiversity and disability issues.
