We meet up at St Mary's leisure centre (SO14 0BL) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9pm, and at Glen Eyre main hall  on Tuesdays from 6-8pm. If you have any questions on what to expect or how to get to the locations, please email at jitsu@soton.ac.uk. We hope to see you there 🙂

The Organisers

Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu is a practical, fun & technical martial art, based on the teachings of the Japanese Samurai, but updated to cope with modern situations. We teach a variety of techniques including throwing, restraining locks & weapons defence (i.e. chains, bottles, baseball bats...). It is great for getting into shape, as well as for those who prefer the more technical side of martial arts. So why not come along and give it a try, your first session is completely FREE! All abilities welcome, whether you've done Jiu-Jitsu before, another martial art, or none at all!
