Love indie, alternative, or just music that’s a little different? AIMS is a relaxed space for sharing music, films, books, and all things creative. Whether you want to meet like-minded people, go to gigs, or just discover new stuff, you’re welcome here.
What We Offer:
- Gigs: Explore Southampton’s best local gigs, discover new bands, and find concert buddies for artists you already love.
- Weekly Socials: Pub nights, indie club nights, listening parties, and chill study sessions - come hang out and meet new people.
- Community Spotlight: Are you in a band, hosting a radio show, or working on creative projects? We’re all about giving our members a chance to share what they love - whether that’s through our socials, events, or social media shoutouts.

The Committee
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for Alternative & Indie Music Society this year are:

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Alternative & Indie Music Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
