Debating Union

We run weekly debates which are free to attend and open to everyone. In the last year we have had the pleasure of welcoming several high profile speakers to these events, including former MP and Government Minister Sir Vince Cable, Spokesperson for the Israeli Embassy Yiftah Curiel and leader of the Liberal Democrats Tim Farron.

We also run training sessions to educate people in debating, improve their skills at public speaking and formulating arguments, and prepare them for inter-university competitions..
