Friends of MSF is a student society that supports the work of Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). MSF is an international humanitarian aid organisation that provides medical assistance to those in greatest need in more than 65 countries. MSF follows the principles of neutrality, independence and impartiality, meaning that MSF helps people in need irrespective of race, religion, ideology or political agendas. Southampton Friends of MSF runs multiple fundraisers throughout the year to raise money and awareness for the charity, as well as holding engaging events with a diverse range of healthcare professionals who have worked with MSF. Everybody is welcome, whether you're interested in working in the humanitarian sector in the future or just want to help out at fundraising events. We even have a few committee roles if you're particularly enthusiastic!
