Gospel Choir

The Southampton University Gospel Choir is a vibrant, Christ-centred community of students united by a shared love for worship and gospel music. Our primary aim is to create a space for true worship - where reverence to God is expressed not just through our voices, but through our lives. Rooted in scripture and theologically rich gospel songs, we are committed to employing unique vocal arrangements and a distinct sound to glorify God. We seek to develop people musically and personally, through training in vocal technique and harmony, fostering a community that promotes confidence and creativity in musical expression that honours God and is skilful. By pursuing excellence through worship we aim to represent the University on both local and national platforms, integrating the gospel with authentic expression.
