GeogSoc FC

A fun and competitive team who is always looking for new members. You don't have to be a geography student to join!

 

GEOGSOC FC is the club for all Southampton University Students who are looking to play football, you don’t have to be a geography student.

We compete in the Weekend 11-a-side Intramural league Division 2, winning it in the 24/25 season. Additionally, we compete have a 6 a-side team that play for Leisure Leagues held at Cantell School which we have won many times.

We train every Wednesday at riverside park from 2-4pm, host weekly socials and have an annual tour to a European destination.
 

If you are interested in joining, trials for the 26/27 season will be on

  • Wednesday 16th September, 14:00 - 16:00
  • Saturday 19th September 14:00 - 16:00
  • Wednesday 23rd September 14:00-16:00

  • Club Secretary fills some of the roles of President, in collaboration with other committee members, working closely with the Captain on admin matters. The role of President was abolished at the end of the 2023-24 season. Their responsibility includes managing the clubs finances, admin, and emails.
