Glen Eyre (Netball)
Glen Eyre Netball is an all-inclusive IM club with 3 teams in 3 different leagues - perfect for all abilities!
Welcome to Glen Eyre Netball!
We're one of the University of Southampton's largest and most vibrant intramural (IM) netball clubs, welcoming players of all abilities - from complete beginners to seasoned players. With three competitive teams across three different leagues, there's opportunities for everyone to play every Sunday, get involved, and find their place in Glen.
We're also proud to compete in the Hampshire Margaret Whittaker League, giving our members the chance to take their netball beyond campus and represent Glen Eyre on a larger stage.
Our club values community, teamwork and sportsmanship just as much as performance. Glen Eyre Netball is about more than just netball - it's about building confidence, making memories, and forming friendships that last well beyond university. From themed socials (like our Traitors Night and St. Patrick's Day celebration!) to charity fundraisers, mixed tournaments, and our annual international tour, Glen Netball is a hub of fun, energy, and inclusivity.
Whether you're living in Glen Eyre halls or elsewhere, everyone is welcome - and we'd love for you to join us and be part of something special.
Weekly Planner:
Training: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00pm @ Wide Lane Sports Ground
Socials: Weekly themed socials including pub crawls, house nights, joint socials (with other clubs) and sober socials.
External Team: Additional training on Wednesdays and league matches every Monday for those looking for more competitive play.
To summarise: Glen Eyre Netball is all about fun, friendship, and a love of the game - no matter your experience level. Come along and find your place on the team!
