Defending Intra-Mural Champions and former Team Southampton Team of The Year. Do you fancy playing for the greatest intra-mural rugby side Southampton University has seen? Do you fancy joining a fantastic group of blokes creating friends for life with an enjoyable social atmosphere with a hardworking sporting side? Well Glen Eyre Rugby are for you! We have the largest squad of all of the rugby teams at the university while maintaining a fantastic, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We play regularly against other Southampton teams as well as local sides and universities along the south coast. No matter your background in the sport of rugby feel free to come down and give it a go. We've had players who have played high level academy to those who have never held a non-round ball! All are welcome! Membership is free so there are no joining fees. An enjoyable social calendar with fortnightly socials with many many fantastic themes! But do not worry there are none of the traditional ‘initiations’.
