STEM Netball

We are a friendly intramural (IM) netball team at UoS playing in division 3, inclusive to all abilities and degrees🏐 We train every Wednesday and Saturday and host fun regular socials. We don’t have any trials to join our team :)

Hi everyone! Welcome to STEM Netball!

We are a netball team who play in the university's intramural league <3

We hold 2 trainings every week:

Wednesdays: 5-7pm @ Wide Lane

Saturdays: 10-11am @ Avenue Campus

We play competitive games against other teams once a week while also organising regular socials!

We are open to everyone (no matter what your degree is!) 

Membership to our team is free - you will just need a sports pass or a full UoS sport membership to use the Southampton sports facilities.

The Committee

All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for STEM Netball this year are:

President
  • Main representative of the team. In charge of sourcing sponsorship as well as administration.

Treasurer
  • In charge of controlling the funds and bank account of the team.

Welfare Sec
  • Ensure safety of the team and check in throughout the year
Mabel Whiting
Captain
  • Will lead training, create strategies for gameplay, and organise matches and friendlies.
Isabella Austoni
Kit Secretary
  • In charge of creating designs for and sourcing kit.
Sara Varma
Social Media Sec
  • Keep all social medias updated and respond to messages.
Lucie Golding
Social Secretary
  • In charge of organising socials, both drinking and non-drinking. Will need to take pictures and update the social media.

  • Will assist in running training, organise matches and friendlies, and create game strategies.

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by STEM Netball, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
