Southampton University Liberal Democrats is a vibrant political society dedicated to fostering liberal values, political engagement, and meeting like minded individuals. Whether you're politically engaged or just curious, we offer speaker events, policy discussions, trips, and great socials. If you’re a believer in liberty, equality, environmental responsibility, internationalism, a stronger and cooperative Europe and achieving a fair deal for our future, come and discover what we’re about.
What we do:
Socials & Trips: Pub nights, joint socials with other societies, speaker dinners, Christmas ball and trips to Lib Dem conferences, Young Liberals events and Parliament.
Campaigning: Get involved in local and national Lib Dem campaigns, including training sessions led by seasoned campaign leaders
Speaker Events: Hear from high-profile Liberal Democrat figures
Debates: Engage in lively discussions with other political societies

It should also be noted the Southampton University Liberal Democrats did previously exist and was a hugely popular society until it got disbanded around the time of Covid 19.
