LSPS are a society for postgraduate students from the Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences and the School of Psychology. PhD and MSc students are entitled to become members for free when they enrol on their course.
We are open to all postgraduate students, post-docs and research staff across the university and regularly invite the entire postgraduate community to attend events we put on. We have a close relationship with many other postgraduate societies, especially BSPS, with whom we regularly put on events for all postgraduate students.
We provide a number of services for our members including academic talks, social events, coffee mornings with anonymous concern reporting, international themed events, mental health support and general welfare support.
