Physiotherapy Society

We are a society aimed at improving engagement and interaction amongst physiotherapy students at the University of Southampton. The society runs monthly social events to improve relationships between cohorts, offers course such as sports massage to help enhance your development into a physiotherapist. Our aims for the society include: 1) Increase integration of students from a multitude of differing degree pathways (MSc and BSc). 2) Creating an environment in which information can be shared for the benefit of the student body and the academic performance. 3) Promoting the values of SUSU via increasing engagement from physiotherapy students. 4) Gathering students together in order to raise awareness and interest in intra-mural sports. 5) Create a unique identity which can be continued for years to come. We aim for physiotherapy students to feel that they have ownership of our profession and our society. 6) Work alongside sports teams to enhance the performance of university athletes by providing sports massage
