We are the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Society – PHEMSoc! Throughout the year we will be holding talks, practical teaching and simulation sessions to inspire and help you develop skills needed for careers in PHEM! Whether you have a keen interest in PHEM and lots of experience or don’t even know what the speciality entails, come along and get involved!

The Pre-Hospital & Emergency Medicine Society brings together medical students from all programs who share a common interest in Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital care.

PHEMSoc offers:

  • Monthly talks from specialists in their fields
  • Sessions to practice important clinical skills for both OSCEs and future practice
  • Deteriorating patient simulation scenarios to consolidate learning
