Russian Speaking Society

Bringing Russian speakers together one social at a time. Expect parties, cosy evenings, new friendships and a community that makes uni feel a little more like home.

At the Russian Speaking Society, we aim to create a welcoming community for Russian-speaking students at the University of Southampton. It’s a place to meet new people, make friends, stay connected with familiar culture and enjoy university life together through socials, parties, and other events.

Our community brings together people from different backgrounds who share the Russian language and the experiences and culture that come with it. Whether you’ve just arrived at university or have been here for a while, we hope to make it easier to find your people and feel at home.
