StageSoc is the Stage Technicians' Society - covering all aspects of backstage craft and technical theatre: lighting, sound, set building and stage management for all of Performing Arts.

Welcome to StageSoc- the stage technicians' society! We provide backstage support for the university's performing arts societies, covering all aspects of technical theatre: lighting, sound, stage management and set building. Whether you're interested in tech or you love theatre but prefer to stay backstage, anyone is welcome to join - no exerience necessary! Alongside providing tech for many shows each year (from plays, musicals and light operas to comedy and dance shows), we run training sessions and socials.
