The Stage Technicians' Society is a Performing Arts society, focused on backstage craft and technical theatre.
Welcome to StageSoc! We provide backstage support to the performing arts groups in areas such as lighting, sound, stage management and set building. Anyone can join and get involved in shows - no experience necessary! For more information sign up to our mailing list and forum on our website (see link above).

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by Stage Technicians' Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

Basic MembershipFREE26/09/2020 - 25/09/2021This membership ensures you will continue to receive updates about and invitations to StageSoc training and social events throughout the year. This membership option entitles you to all the benefits of regular StageSoc membership except for the ability to work in the crew for a show. When shows resume, you will need to upgrade to the full, paid membership option in order to participate.
