Politics Society

The University of Southampton’s Politics Society is an apolitical, community-focused group welcoming students from all degree backgrounds. We provide an inclusive space where all viewpoints are respected and members can explore ideas, challenge perspectives, and connect through open discussion. We host major annual events like our Winter Ball and Summer Boat Ball, alongside regular socials including pub crawls, quiz nights, debates, and joint events with other societies. We work closely with the Politics Department to strengthen our academic community, and we invite MPs and policy professionals for talks and career sessions.
