Looking For A Room In Southampton

Hi, Here's Kat, and I’m looking for a room in Southampton starting around April! I already have a flat for the beginning, but would love to find a more permanent place once I'm there, preferably in Shirley or Portswood. I’m 27, originally from Austria, and will be starting my PhD at the National Oceanography Centre in microbial oceanography in late March 2026. I do lots of sports, spend time outdoors, and am always up for some beers :) I'm fairly uncomplicated, open, and easy-going and I’ve lived in a variety of shared flats in different countries, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of shared-living setups and any number of roommates.
