Looking for a room / house share for 2026/27 – Highfield / Portswood preferred

Hi! I am a male returning Aerospace Engineering student going into my second year at the University of Southampton, and I'm currently looking for a room in an existing house share for the upcoming academic year. I'm ideally looking to move in in late September. My preferred areas are Highfield and Portswood, or somewhere somewhat close to campus. My ideal budget is around £175 per week, but I can consider up to approximately £210 per week for the right place. Though I would prefer an en-suite/private bathroom, I'm perfectly happy sharing if the bathroom-to-person ratio is reasonable. I'm quite social and enjoy spending time with friends, or doing sport, but I take my degree seriously. I'm generally quite clean and tidy (Unless Exam Season) Though I'm particularly conscious about keeping shared spaces comfortable and clean for everyone. I do smoke sometimes, but generally smoke outside and dont bring the smell to the house. I'm open to living in a mixed household as I am mainly looking for an available room in an existing house.
