Full time; 35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a great team which is all about ensuring that every student enjoys their time at Southampton University, where at SUSU we provide a wealth of entertainment and student support services.

This role is instrumental in providing advice and support across the whole organisation in all areas of our employee lifecycle, whilst supporting the Heads of the department in the delivery of a number of projects that will support the implementation of our new 4 year People Strategy.

We are looking for an experience HR Advisor/Generalist who is passionate about providing excellent HR services that contribute to a healthy, happy productive working environment. You will have great problem-solving skills with a strong positive disposition, being able to communicate with all levels of the staff team, positively and in a consistent manner. You will be an accurate worker with responsibilities for keeping our HR systems (current systems are Cascade and Staff Savvy) up to date and providing accurate and timely information to Managers in terms of employee relation matters, recruitment, onboarding and information to accounts for payroll purposes. Ideally you will have a CIPD qualification and experience in a HR environment and you will be committed to your continuing develops as a people professional.
