Hi, I received this response from the Library team yesterday: "There is still a self-service Take Out/Return machine in place at Avenue – it’s on Level 2 just outside room 2153 by the language books. If the student is having any problems finding it, do encourage them to get in touch with us – either via online Chat ( https://library.soton.ac.uk/homepage and go to Help) or they can email us on libenqs@southampton.ac.uk".

Hello. I have just received a response re the Avenue Campus Library: "As part of a new Faculty/Library partnership in the area of Digital Humanities, the space occupied by the Avenue Library & Learning Commons has been reconfigured to provide a flexible teaching/research and learning environment for staff and students.  A collection of language resources and DVDs to support film studies is available at Avenue, along with a self-issue machine so that students can borrow and return these items. This collection is backed up by print resources at Hartley Library plus our extensive online resources, accessible both on and off campus". I will chase the Library team to consider bringing back the take out/return option.
