Complete

If you've ever been in the plant pot around the time the sun setting you will understand why this is essential. It is really difficult to have rehearsals in summer as the sun is in everyones eyes, and we can't even set up away from it as it moves.

Please can we have blinds to avoid this problem/not spend every evening with the sun in our eyes.

Thank you for your submission!

I have spoken to both the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Social Enterprise and unfortunately this would be an incredibly costly project for SUSU at the moment. Additionally, we get a lot of feedback that people enjoy the natural light coming into the space and wouldn't want to restrict that. However depending on where the sun is in the worst positions, we could look at a targeted approach with blinds.

If you have any further queries or would like to discuss this further, feel free to email me at president@soton.ac.uk

Many thanks,
