Hiya all - a last-minute announcement: Art Society are running an in-person Art competition this Saturday, from 12-2pm! This will be livestreamed to LGBTQ+ Society's Blossom Drive charity livestream.
Each contestant will be given a random prompt and art supply to use, with one pass being allowed (if you don't like what you're given, no backsies!)
Winners will be judged by an online poll at the end of the session.

Rough timetable of events:
12pm: Picking out the random assignments from a hat, quick intro to the contestants
12:15 (ish): Competition starts!
12:30: quick intermission by Bob Ross??? (You'll have to turn up to see what happens)
13:40: the competition ends: start the judging process
14:00: clean up and packing away. Free stuff for those who entered.

The competition will last approximately 1.5 hours, with the rest being part of the prompt selection and judging process.

The Organisers

Welcome to Art Society! We welcome students of all abilities and experience levels! We are aiming to create a welcoming and open environment where you can come and have time to create your own art, meet new people, and have access to new materials and ideas you might not have tried before! Our sessions are every Thursday in Shop on Top (the room above the SUSU shop) , 6:00-8:30pm. We're a no-pressure society, and you certainly don't need art experience to join - just a passion for creativity!
