We aim to bring together all the history students under one society, giving them opportunities to meet more people from their course, and make more friends in doing so. The society aims to ensure studying the subject is sociable, active and even more enjoyable. We have a wealth of sports teams, organise a range of socials to suit everyone's interests and plan trips abroad for the society and the sports teams. We also organise both internal and external career events to provide society members with a wider understanding of the opportunities available to them after University. Our membership card (as seen below) offers a huge range of offers for local establishments to give our members excellent benefits for a very generous price! We encourage students from all subjects and faculties to join the History Society and improve their University life. Our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/HistSoc/
