Zone Name

There was a discussion for ideas for the name of the zone as it didn’t really explain everything it does, but the committee decided that unless a good name could be found it shouldn’t be changed for the sake of it.

Dan shared a video on what training can be accessed on the Union’s online Learning Management System (LMS)

EVA’s

Dan explained that zones are being given the opportunity to create a zone specific award at the Excellence in Volunteering Awards, there was a lot of discussion around what could be most appropriate for the zone. Some thing around “Social Impact Award” appeared to be the most popular option.

AOB

Andy Kendell has been recruited as the new staff coordinator for the zone, he will take up his position on 22nd March 2017 and introductions will take place then.
