Athletic Union

How to join

Use the club browser on the left to get in touch with the club you want to join, and they will advise you as to their membership fees.

You may also need to obtain a Sports Card from the Department of Sport and Recreation, located in the Jubilee Sports Centre, to use facilities owned by Sport and Recreation (eg Jubilee Sports Centre, Sports Hall, Watersports Centre and Wide Lane). This will depend on what facilities the club uses, and individual clubs will be able to advise you on this.

The best time to find out about joining a club is at the Bunfight during Your Freshers'. All of the clubs will be there showing off what they do and trying to recruit new members. You can find out more about The Bunfight here.

Non-students can join

Alumni, staff of the University of Southampton and SUSU as well as members of the public can also join AU clubs (at the discretion of the club). For details of membership fees please contact the Activities Department on au@susu.org.
