The University of Southampton Students’ Union (SUSU) exists to unlock the potential and enrich the life of every one of our 23,000 student members. We are a registered charity with a £7M turnover and provide a comprehensive platform of offers, support, representation, services and spaces for our members to enhance their overall University experience across a number of campuses. SUSU is run by students for students, but our achievements are not possible without the support, expertise and partnership of our 100-strong core staff team.

We have recently restructured and have created the new role of Insight Manager to create a comprehensive insight programme to enable the organisation to understand our membership fully so we can make data driven decisions which enhance our ability to deliver our mission.

You will work closely with senior managers to incorporate data and trends into all strategic decision making and will have experience enabling you to develop a multi-platform, multi-stream data collection programme. You will also be able to demonstrate considerable experience of market research and hands-on marketing experience, strong data analysis and project management skills with the ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships.
