At the heart of every successful project is substantial understanding of its aspects and challenges in order to properly develop a strategic plan that achieves the desired outcome. A critical part of this process is tracking progress in the outlined phases.  As Chair of Senate, I will make sure the progression is maintained for all raised issues in the senate by actively seeking input from Sabbatical Officers, all reps and attending students. This will allow me to promote debate so that motions presented are discussed comprehensively but also led with organisation and structure.  

I was previously a Social Sciences Faculty Officer, and adequate representation of all the schools was key to every meeting I have chaired. I intend to keep that priority with this role through collaboration and inclusivity at the core of senate’s decision-making processes. I will proactively encourage senators and sabbatical officers to work together towards our joint goal through collaboration and compromise.

 With such a diverse student body, I will work tirelessly to ensure the senate achieves the SUSU’s great mission of every student loving their time at Southampton. By electing me, you can be confident that your voice will be heard, your concerns will be addressed, and your interests will be protected.
