Aleisha Mainwaring - Film Department President

I think I would be suitable for this role because I have demonstrated in the past that I have strong communication skills. I will listen to all film studies students and ask for their opinions and offer guidance. Through student ambassador work I have demonstrated my ability to engage with freshers and potential new students that have attended offer days. I am incredibly passionate about this course and want nothing more than for all film students to have the best possible experience whilst studying at the University of Southampton. I would love to make the most of my time here and would love to leave a positive impact on this department for future students to benefit from for years to come.
