Fatemeh Sadat Jafari

My name is Fatemeh Sadat. I am a Postgraduate student in Electronic Engineering. I am 23 years old and I came here from Iran. I have an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering, achieved when I was 18.
I have always had the desire to make a small impact on the lives of others in any way I can. That's why when I was living in my own country, I started helping other students who were facing problems for any reason and needed help. Even if I didn't know how to do something for them, I wanted to hear their voices.
Through my academic experiences I have learned how to take steps to improve myself and positively impact the people I meet. I have realised how small steps can have a huge impact, and I want to apply this as a member of the SUSU team.
Starting at The University of Southampton has reminded me of all the good experiences I have had and makes me hopeful for more good experiences ahead. Like the feeling of achievement that I get when solving a technical problem or designing a circuit, I want to have the satisfaction of helping other people solve their own problems.
I want to be with you, I want us to be together... I think in the end, our tomorrow will be brighter than our yesterday.
