Why vote for Becca?

With the new Medicine curriculum starting in September, I think it's more important than ever to have a strong feedback system for students. As a intercalating student going into Y4, I understand the value of effective communication between students and faculty. I believe I have the skills and experience to make a great Faculty Officer.

I have experience in student feedback, having been year rep twice and been on MedSoc committee for 3 years, including as President. I am very familiar with SSLCs (student-staff feedback meetings) and have learnt how best to engage everyone in these. As a student, I understand the need for timely communication and appropriate resolution of issues raised. I believe I am approachable and would love to encourage stronger connections between students, year reps and Faculty Officer. I am not afraid to challenge outdated systems and strive for improvements in our student experience. I am also fortunate to have already built positive working relationships with many faculty staff. It is for these reasons I think I am a strong candidate for Faculty Officer.
