Why vote for Hope?

Anyone who knows me will know I've always got an opinion. Whether you love that or hate it, you should know that I'm never afraid to say what I think and I will speak up for what you believe in to be a force for change.

A little bit more about me...

In my past I have used my organisation and time-management to plan and teach weekly theatre sessions to 6-18 year olds. In my spare time now, I independently tutor GCSE maths students. I spent the last year on a society committee too.

Plans

Over the last 2 years, I've built positive relationships with staff by speaking to them individually and giving them feedback in a constructive manor. I've also organised meetings with my peers for collective issues, and we have seen lecture improvements and found lecturers more approachable because of this. Additionally, I have attended SSLC with our course reps and worked with them to synthesise meaningful feedback. I will use these positive relationships to pass on feedback during the semester, after SSLC, and during mid-semester feedback to produce more engaging, productive lectures.

I will work with our community including SUMS, SUAS, buddy scheme, other presidents, and the faculty officer to improve your experience.

I will be an open point of contact for you to feedback to and support you through your studies.

I've got loads more ideas that don't fit here so if you want more information, please feel free to email me (hp8g23)!
