Why vote for Cordelia?
Hi, I’m Cordelia, a second year mathematician - I’m sure many of you will have seen me in the Maths Student Centre.
This past year I balanced being a Maths Buddy alongside being in 4 societies, showing I can organise, advocate and get things done - even with a packed schedule. In my role as vice-president of the University’s Chamber Choir I have gained a lot of leadership and administrative experience that I will bring to this role.
As Maths School President I will approach student feedback with dedication to ensure the Maths Department improves in the coming year. We as students deserve to have our voices heard and I plan to be the advocate for the changes you want to see!
I’m deeply invested in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: I believe maths should be accessible for everyone and I will fight to keep it that way. As a Maths Buddy and having worked with students with Special Educational Needs I’ve seen how small actions make big changes in student support. To do this I will strengthen student support networks and ensure I push for the improvements you want.
I’m running to improve your experience and have your voice heard.
