Freya 'Flo' Day - Environment and Life Sciences Faculty Officer

I am entering my third year here and wish to make as much of an impact on the student experience as I can; improving life within the biological sciences for the years to come. I have experience as a student representative and will not shy away from bringing up any feedback students have. Most importantly, I know exactly what it is like to be a student in biological sciences. When listening to feedback, I come from a place of understanding and appreciation. My vow is to ensure action over empty promises and to make sure that ALL voices are heard. From freshers in their first lectures, to experienced student reps, I will ensure everyone feels heard and that their points are transformed into real improvements. I wish to also improve the communication of updates back to student reps and the general student population, to make it known that we value their contributions and encourage further discussion.
