Why vote for Aditya?
I am Aditya Kumar, a BEng Electronic Engineering student with a strong record of leadership and representation at the University of Southampton. Currently serving as Vice President of both the Indian Society and the Artificial Intelligence Society, I have firsthand experience working within SUSU to support student communities, organise impactful events, and ensure inclusivity.
Beyond societies, I bring academic and professional experience that strengthens my ability to serve as a Student Councillor. I have completed an AI Engineer internship at a leading startup, undertaken research internships, and thrive in rigorous problem-solving environments. At school, I held positions as a prefect and ambassador, demonstrating a consistent commitment to leadership and service.
If elected, I will focus on accountability, transparency, and student engagement. I want to ensure Sabbatical Officers deliver on promises, decisions reflect the needs of all students, and Council processes are communicated openly. My goal is to represent students with integrity, using my experience and energy to ensure every voice matters at SUSU.
