I am an economics and finance student. I want to strengthen our community, create opportunities, and ensure every student’s voice is heard. As President of the University of Southampton Trading & Investment Society, I have helped expand the society significantly, and we are launching new initiatives like the student-managed investment fund and the research journal.
If elected as school president, I will focus on three key areas:
Student Experience — delivering events, workshops, and initiatives that are engaging, inclusive, and valuable. I will also ensure employability lectures are practical and relevant.
Career Development – Expanding career support by connecting students with alumni, top companies, and networking opportunities. I want to raise Southampton’s profile and make it a true target university for top employers.
Community & Wellbeing – Building a strong sense of belonging, where students feel supported academically and personally, while celebrating our successes together.
I also play for Southampton’s Econ FC intramural team, where teamwork and collaboration are key values I will bring to representing you, and it shows my commitment to our student community. Professionally, I have completed three internships, received a return offer, and secured a graduate programme at Deloitte. My goal is to help every student secure the opportunities they aspire to, just as I was able to. I have been doing this through T&I and hopefully as school president too.
