Why vote for Abi ?
Hi, I’m Abi! I am a third year psychology student and the current Welfare Secretary for the Psychology Society.
Over my time at university, I have witnessed many positive changes to the psychology programme thanks to student feedback. As your President, I would aim to uphold the high standards set by previous student body members and ensure that your voices are heard by representatives and programme leads.
I am passionate about making meaningful changes for you, which is why I hope to meet regularly with course representatives and lecturers to foster open communication between students and directors. I plan to continue anonymous module reviews each semester to highlight student concerns and increase transparency surrounding the changes made based on your input. I also aim to refine event information by coordinating announcements between lecturers, the Psychology Community, and the Psychology Society.
As Welfare Secretary, I am dedicated to improving student wellbeing, and I intend to carry this into the President role by encouraging the use of university support systems and events.
I would love to have the opportunity to hear your suggestions and make a positive impact as your Psychology School President!
