Why vote for Daniel?

My name is Daniel Puka, a Politics and International Relations student, and I am running to be your Economic, Social and Political Science School President. I believe every student deserves to be heard, supported, and prepared for life beyond university.

The ESPS School brings together students from many different backgrounds and subjects, but we all share the same goal: to make the most of every opportunity at University and grow both academically and personally. As your School President, I want to make sure every student, from every department, feels represented and valued.

I will strengthen communication between students, lecturers, and staff, ensuring that your ideas and concerns are not only heard but acted on. I will push for transparency around decisions, regular updates on School initiatives, and more collaboration across departments so we can learn from each other.

Career development will be one of my top priorities. I will work with careers advisors and faculty to organise networking events, workshops, and opportunities with alumni and employers from across economics, politics, sociology, criminology, and social policy.

Most importantly, I want to build a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels connected, supported, and empowered to make a difference.

Vote Daniel Puka for a stronger, more united, and inspiring School for all.
